Le Quartier Français and Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner – 20 days and counting – and that means that it’s time to stock up on Pink bubbly, flowers, cards, chocolate and maybe an original gift or two.

Because nothing says I love you quite like beautiful linen from Mungo Design, a chair by REcreate or a space in the next Dessert Me cooking course.

Actually nothing says I love you like all of the above accompanied by lunch at Bread & Wine – if you’re into long lazy lunches and excellent Môreson wines; or iCi – if you want to experience Franschhoek, scrumptious dining and the best strawberry daiquiris South of the equator.

Mungo Design Linen now in Touches and Tastes

We’ve got beautiful Mungo Design linen table clothes and serviettes – in white, pink, lime green and turquoise – tea towels and kikios that double as swimming/beach towels presently available in Touches and Tastes.

At Le Quartier Français we love colour and we believe that white, pink, lime green and turquoise add that perfect dash of summer magic to any lunch table, busy kitchen or beach adventure.

Touches and Tastes Christmas Stock

If you’re looking for the perfect gift for that someone special, or you just want to spoil yourself, pop in to Touches and Tastes. We’ve redone the interior – it’s lighter and brighter than before – and we have also restocked the shop.

Touches and Tastes now has a selection of fabulous pieces ranging from REcreate Suitcase Chairs to handbags, fun pieces from my Marrakech adventure, jewellery, kitchen and bath delights, Môreson Méthode Cap Classique and more.

Once you’re done with your shopping why not pop into iCi for a strawberry daiquiri? It’s revitalising, it’s scrumptious and it’s pink … you can’t get better than that.

New stock at Touches and Tastes

In Marrakech I found wonderful treasures for Touches & Tastes. I’ve combined these with vibrant new items sourced from various producers throughout South Africa. These include throws, beautiful linen table clothes and serviettes, fashionable washing-up gloves, cupcake couture, handbags, kitchen goodies and so much more.

The new look Môreson Méthode Cap Classique – that perfect stocking filler – will also be on sale at Touches and Tastes for the December 2009 and January 2010 period.
