Neil Jewell, the Bread & Wine head chef and South African Charcuterie King, is also a very proud football fan!
To show his support he has created a variety of country specific gourmet sausages and sausage inspired dishes. For each week, of the 2010 World Cup Neil, will be showcasing a different range of sausages and sausage inspired dishes.
Week one – starting this Saturday, the 12th of June 2010 – boasts the following selection of sausage inspired dishes:
- smoked sausage soup
- luguena, polenta & tomato
The South African
- tuna boerewors, pap & chilli
- A hotdog
- lamb tagine, merguez, cous cous
All these dishes are available at Bread & Wine Vineyard Restaurant on Môreson Farm.
