Hotel Trend: Sleeping Aids

If sleep is your fetish then this trend is definitely for you …

I’ve spotted a few hotels that have expanded their already personal offerings with a series of sleep aids.

These sleep aids vary from the more obvious – pillow menus, scented sprays for the pillow, soothing music, travel blankets and special lighting – to the very unique Dream Service Menu.

The Dream Service Menu boasts scent diffusers, an extensive lullaby library, a selection of iPod snore relief products (very useful), milk and cookies and – in London’s Andaz Liverpool Street – a permanently-on-call pajama clad reader whose just waiting to share a relaxing bedtime story.

I’m not so sure having a stranger in their PJ’s, reading me stories, is my idea of relaxing – but the rest of the sleeping aids sound rather comforting.
